Charleston U-Pick Berry Guide

By Lisa Bayorek March 19, 2019

It's that time, U-pick time! Time for family fun enjoying Spring's' fresh and delicious bounty.   Strawberries, Blueberries and more!

The Lowcountry offers several great options for you to plan your outing.

Before you go here are a few things that will help ensure you have a great trip!

 *  Be sure to call ahead, to be sure they are open.  Some have not yet opened for the season and fields close sometimes due to weather or other reasons and it is better to be sure they are open and be sure they have plenty of produce left in the fields before you head out!

 *  The fields are hot, wear/bring sunscreen, bug repellent, wear hats, bring plenty of water

 * Bring buckets to hold your produce.

 * Bring a great camera - the picturesque fields make a perfect backdrop for amazing memories.

 * Have fun!!

If you go to any of these farms or "like" their Facebook pages, it would be FANTASTIC if you let them know that Macaroni Kid Charleston sent you :)
