Come join the biggest St. Patrick's Day celebration in the Lowcountry on Saturday, March 12th in the Olde Village of North Charleston (located on East Montague Avenue near Park Circle). The 13th Annual “St. Paddy's Day Block Party & Parade” is from 12 PM – 6 PM and promises fun for the entire family. The Block Party location is East Montague Avenue between Virginia Avenue and Jenkins Avenue.

Thursday March 17th
* St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Charleston
Come and participate in South Carolina's biggest and best St. Patrick's Day Parade. Downtown Charleston celebrates the many wonderful contributions the Irish community has given the Lowcountry. The day begins at 8:00 am with a celebratory mass at St. Patrick's Church. The parade along with it's one thousand particpants begin's at 10:00 am sharp at King and Radcliffe Streets and proceeds down King to Broad with the conclusion at the Cathedral of St. Johns. The parade includes local schools, step dancers, fiddlers, fire trucks, military units, local pro team mascots and some of the Lowcountry's most famous Irish residents. There's much more activities around town all day, including the Flag Raising at City Hall at 11:30 am. The city celebrates the day with the raising of the tri-colors (flag of Ireland) and the singing of Irish national anthem. Sullivan's Island celebrates the day with many of East Cooper's favorite Irish residents.
